“People don’t grow where they are merely informed. People grow where they are accepted.”
This is a quote by one of my favorite authors, Bob Goff (author of Love Does, and Everyone, Always). When I read it the other day, it struck me that WORTHY is a place where people grow from being accepted. That acceptance comes not just from Mark, Murray and the coaches, but from YOU, the WORTHY family! Often, as I am walking into the gym, I hear you all cheering each other on, encouraging each other to take it to the next level, to push it past the pain and breathlessness. You, WORTHY family, show concern for a fellow athlete who hasn’t been to a session for a while, or for one who has to take a break because of family concerns, as well as support for a new mom. THIS is one reason why WORTHY is such a unique place! Yes, we learn and gather great information about fitness, and nutrition to encourage us in our health journey, but I believe one of the reasons we come back session after session is because of the acceptance and love we give, and we receive.
