Change of Seasons

He changes times and seasons; he deposed kings and raises others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him”.

Daniel 2: 21-22

Good morning Worthy family!

As we will soon enter into the fall season I can’t help but reflect on the summer and how at least for myself how challenging it was. One thing that I learned this year is that life is full of seasons. We will have seasons where we have plenty, seasons of uncertainty, seasons of recovery, and we also have dry seasons. The worst seasons seem like it’s never ending and the best seasons seem like they go too fast. During each season God will give us  what we “need” in order for us to be our best selves  Each season is a time of preparation for what is to come.

Many of us would be much more comfortable if things always stayed the same, but yet it doesn’t.I love the changing of seasons in nature particularly fall but, The changing of seasons in life can be scary. It’s always good to be still and understand who you are and where you’re at in your life right now. We can be fruitful no matter what is going on in our lives if we take the time to embrace the good and bad moments and learn from them. No matter how dark life may seem or how plentiful  your blessings  are God has a purpose to mold and grow you through this particular season.

Change is constant and without change we cannot grow mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. with change comes new habits. What habits do you need to develop? What habits do you need to stop? Are you working towards the kind of person you want to be?

One month from now we will begin assessment week. A time where we test ourselves in strength and endurance. It will also highlight our strengths and weakness. Just like our workouts in each seasoned life we must continue to build on our strengths and work on our weaknesses. Have a great week!

Peace and Love
