Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray. -Proverbs 10:17
Some days we lead, some days we follow. Take care in choosing the right people to follow and be careful of your own path for those following you. When we discipline ourselves to remain focused on God, we can lead those behind us to Christ. We help one another. It's what we do. Who are you following? Who are you leading? -Live Bold-
I have certainly made the mistake of letting the wrong people influence me at times in my life. It is hard to recognize it in the moment if you don't have a solid foundation of morals, values, and faith. Fortunately for myself, and all of you reading this email, Worthy is full of incredible people. We have such a welcoming environment and when a new person walks in our doors they often see, and feel how amazing our community of people are. If you are a bit new to Worthy, there is no shortage of people that are willing to encourage you and help you get adjusted. If you are a veteren of Worthy, don't hesitate to assist us in leading others on the path to a healthier lifestyle.
In all situations we can choose to follow the wrong path or the correct path, to be a positive influence or a negative influence. Don't avoid people who may challenge you to be better and don't be afraid to challenge others to be better. We are only as good as the company we keep.
Look forward to seeing you all this week!
